Parish Life
A sense of community is important to any parish. To enrich the lives of parishioners,
we provide periodic social activities and opportunities for fellowship where individual members,
families and extended families of parishioners can gather and interact.

Festival
The
parish festival is a family-style event held in summer with food, fun,
music, games, bingo, raffles, a giant rummage sale, silent auction and
more. It is open to parishioners and the wider community. Parishioners
work together to plan and stage the festival. See
the festival page for all the details.
Fish Frys
Fish frys are traditionally held on one or more Fridays
in Lent . During Lent, you can watch the bulletin, look at the upcoming
events on the home page, or check the calendar for
upcoming fish fry dates.
First Friday Club
On the first Friday of most months during the school year, the 8 a.m. Mass
is held at the north church. After Mass the First Friday Club hosts a
light breakfast of coffee, rolls and sweets in the church hall. Everyone
is welcome. This is a good opportunity to meet parishioners and to socialize.
Check the calendar or contact the parish
office for the date of the next First Friday Club meeting.
Funeral
Meals Ministry
Dedicated parishioners assist grieving families by making arrangements for
funeral dinners held in our church hall. Read more...
Hospitality Sunday
Hospitality Sundays provide an opportunity for food and fellowship (usually donuts
and coffee) after the 9 and 11 a.m. Sunday morning Masses on designated Sundays
during the school year. They are held on the last Sunday of most months, and
are hosted by various parish organizations. Watch the bulletin or check the calendar for
the next Hospitality Sunday date. For more information, contact the parish
office.
Scouting
Programs
Scouting programs provide opportunities for character development, citizenship,
friendship, community service, outdoor skills and fun activities. Scouting
also provides parents with opportunities to be involved with their children
and with other parents. St. Francis Borgia sponsors a Cub Scout pack. Many
girls and boys of the parish are involved in Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts through
their schools, and some have earned Catholic religious awards as part of
their scouting experience. For more information contact
the Office of Stewardship and Development at 262-377-1070, ext. 229
or send an email.
