Do you like to knit? Do you like to crochet? The Knitting Ministry of St. Francis Borgia would welcome you with open arms! Christian Formation (Religious Education) Volunteers

What:

Looking for an opportunity to energize your faith while volunteering for your parish? Why not try helping out with the Christian Formation Program! We are in need of help from people of all ages: high school through retirement age! Opportunities include monitoring the hallways, greeting people in the reception area, assisting as a classroom aide and sharing faith as a catechist. Parents volunteer because it is a great way to learn and talk about Catholic faith with their children. It is a nice way to meet other parish members, especially if you are willing to co-teach or share room duties. Chaperones for youth service and social events and retreats are also needed.

Contact: Director of Child Ministry Chris Crom at 377-1070, ext. 226 (or send an e-mail). Director of Youth Ministry Maria Spenner at 377-1070, ext. 228, (or send an e-mail).

Plan F.U.N. Committee Events

What:

The F.U.N. committee (Friends Underwriting Newbuilding) is planning events in support of our new Education & Activity Center. We would love to have you join our committee. In particular, we could use your help planning the September 21 golf outing at the Bog and the October 10 celebration of our parish's patron saint's 500th birthday. In order to really make this fun, we need people of all ages and stages of life. If you are interested, please join us. . . .it will be FUN! Read more about the F.U.N. Committee and the events being planned. Also read about our Bridge the Gap program to support our new Education & Activity Center.
